Joker, 2019 – ★★★★
I know the movie aims to make the viewers uncomfortable and it succeeds at it fantastically.
It’s a very well made movie, I just don’t like how depressed it made me feel.
Zombieland: Double Tap, 2019 – ★★½
It was a fun ride while the movie lasted, but the overall story was weaker than the first one and even the funny bits were forgettable once the movie ended.
Tall Girl, 2019 – ★★½
Silly little high school rom-com.
Some questionable messages but enjoyable.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, 2018 – ★★★★★
Second time, still love it!
Weathering with You, 2019 – ★★★
I don’t want to go into it too much except I:
- loved the depiction of Tokyo
- loved the food in the show
- couldn’t really relate to the characters
- couldn’t help but feel some of the characters were non-believers of global warming and climate change
“Your Name” was much better and I was disappointed by the ending in this one.
Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2015 – ★★★½
Re-watching this movie after watching Endgame puts a different perspective on some of the things in this movie. I really enjoyed this one. And I just love Scarlet Witch.
Guardians of the Galaxy, 2014 – ★★★½

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, 2014 – ★★★½
“On your left.”
I Am Mother, 2019 – ★½
The entire storyline required the characters to be very tropey to work. Also, does it make sense to innately trust a stranger over the person who raised you, just because the stranger is of the same race as you?
No, of course not, but the protagonist is of the rebellious years and the stranger possessed a picture of a pretty boy whom the protagonist found attractive. ugh
The movie was supposed to show the protagonist as being a strong independent person. Instead I found her easily manipulated, unable to work her way through a logic problem and if she was the best hope for humanity, then we don’t deserve to live.
