I thought my previous word counts had been ridiculous – but filling the last 1.5 hours before midnight with 3-minute word wars had broken all my previous records.

I was so immersed in battling a Fejir (4thewords creature) that I didn’t even notice the day ticking over, so I didn’t remember to take the screenshot until after midnight.

Nanowrimo Day 16.

As I’d mentioned earlier, I’ve completed my 50K!!

But I’ve still got lots to write, so I intend to keep going for the rest of November.

Progress is going to slow significantly, though, as I tackle the hard parts.

Now, as anyone who’s completed 50K would know, that’s barely half a novel. So I’ll continue plodding along and will continue to update my word count for the whole of November.
